2 Day Racing @ Exeter for HDA – Pt 4
Just a quick update, a mass emailer was sent out to most of the club/forum members/address book contacts about a month ago letting you know of a 2 day event talking place as part of the Huntington's Disease Association Steam Fair.
I know the event unfortunately clashes with the SWORDS, but please can you all pass on the info to any RC Car drivers that are not attending the SWORDS and club members that are available. Also this event is a great chance for anyone attending SWORDS to do last minute testing on the Saturday.
Racing is taking the format of qualifiers all Saturday. Sunday is Qualifiers in the morning and Finals in the afternoon followed by price giving.
To get in through the gate free just tell the people on the gate you are there for the RC Car Racing.
Costs for the weekend are £10.00 for the 2 days or £6.00 for the one. All profit goes toward the HDA - a very good cause.
Camping is free on the Friday and Saturday night. Saturday night there is also a beer tent, live entertainment and plenty of food places staying open.
If anyone from any other club wishes to attend please do bring any club banners as a way of advertising you clubs and hopefully bring in more members.
Please Please Please pass on the information about this event to as many people as possible as the event is for a very good cause and a good amount of publicity for everyone.
Thank you for reading this and I hope it is a big success for everyone.
