A big Thank You to everyone that turned up and made the event the success it was.

It was good to see teams from Torquay and Newquay attend as well as the members putting together teams.

The end Results were:-

1st - Torbay Tearaways - 259 Laps
2nd - Newquay Nutters - 226 Laps
3rd - Chaos Theory - 225 Laps
4th - JJT Sports - 195 Laps
5th - We'Ve Got Hot Bodies - 193 Laps
6th - Team K.I.S.S - 147 Laps
7th - Team Bell - 122 Laps

Wednesday Night Practice for the Summer Period

We are starting from Wednesday 18th April for the next few months a 2 hour practice period where you can turn up with anything and use the track. The gates will open about 5.30 for practice and go to 8.00ish.

The fee will be £2.00 flat rate for all.

There will be "practice races" if required otherwise just open track time.

Endurance Race 2012

As most of you now know the Plymouth Endurance race is back again for a 4th year now, and we are trying to make it bigger and better.

Places are starting to fill up so to get an idea of timings and interest if you can all start emailing in your team deals with following information to Chairman@PlymouthRC.co.uk

Also there is going to be a raffle at the event.

Nitro Championship & Trophy Race – 9th April

With SWORDS running on a day we would normally have our Nitro Championship in 2 weeks we are moving our racing to the Bank Holiday Monday (9th April).

And to make this event even more interesting we are not only doing for points in our Championship day we are also doing it as a Trophy day - we have a small collection of trophies that will be perfect for this event so if you fancy trying to win a trophy please come along and if there is enough interest we will run a proper 2wd & 4wd electric class too or just a 1/10th electric class.

New Track Changes

Well after lots of meetings and some hard work we have started to implement some track changes and redesigns after running the same track for over 5 years now. These changes include removing some jumps, moving some jump, adding astro turf and volcano corners.

The track has more bits planned to be done in the next few months so if you have any further ideas please do inform one of the committee members.

Clocks Go Forward

Hi All,

This is just a quick reminder that the clocks go forward tonight at 1pm (25th March) so you have been warned this is no reason to miss a great days racing on the newly designed and modified track layout.

So hard work has gone into the layout after listen to everyone's comments - and there are more changes to follow so if there is any ideas you have for track changes please see one of the Groundsmen (Jamie or Mike) or bring it up in the driver's meetings.

Membership Up for Renewal

Hi All,

This is just a quick post to remind everyone your club membership is up for renewal as of the 1st January 2012. So if you do not want a break in your membership go to the Club Rules page and download the up to date membership form in and bring it to the track along with your monies to renew.

We have also introduced a new membership (forgotten to mention at the AGM), Mechanics Membership - this is for the Non racer that requires insurance for being a mechanic and marshalling.

New Calender for the Year

As most of you have noticed the calender is empty, this is currently being sorted as we have just had the AGM to sort the running of the club for the next year.

Sunday 6th November

Track is open for practice all day, the new championships will be starting on the 13th November.

Club AGM & Trophy Giving

Just a quick update, the club AGM this year is being held at Colebrook Community Hall. Doors open at 6.30 for the meeting to be under way at 7.00. The meeting will be over by 10.00

There will hot and cold drink available and plenty of parking.
